On April 21, Chris lost his grandpa Alex. After almost 97 years on this earth, we pray he is with the Lord! Alex Snyder lived a FULL life, spending the last 50+ years in his home in Lansing, IL next to wonderful neighbors! Up until his final breath, Alex still maintained his driver's license and enjoyed baking, planting his garden and fixing lawn mowers in his tool shed! He will truly be missed!

The last time I spoke with Uncle Alex was shortly after my Dad's (Robert) funeral (2 yrs ago). I asked him what he was doing, and he said, "cooking soup!!".
ReplyDeleteI love you Uncle Alex, and will always remember all the good times growing up we had with you. My sister Cathy, and her husband will be in Rock Island on the 4th, plus I'm sure everyone else will make it.
